Testimonials

My kids love this place, there are TVs, screens and plenty of distractions while they’re working on their teeth… Not only were the TVs and headphones a great distraction, but I really trusted the staff to do their procedures without me being a helicopter parent.

Justin K. Brea, CA

I dislike going to the dentist the most. But this place was hands down the best looking, modern home feeling, tv on the ceiling, friendly staff, and well-informed doctors I have had the pleasure to experience!!! Found my new place !!!

Jason H. Upland, CA

I love my dentist! They make what can be an anxious experience, to not that is easy, seamless and even fun. There are TVs everywhere, water, whatever you need to make yourself comfortable. Their office is amazing- so clean and beautiful. Dr. Lee is so gentle an does you feel like you’re in safe hands. I would recommend this for anyone especially if you have kids.

B H. Pasadena, CA

Flossophie is definitely changing the stigma of dental offices with their inviting, relaxing atmosphere filled with high tech equipment (newest x-ray machine, comfortable chair, two tv screens for each patient, personal headphones) to make the whole process smooth, quick and comfortable. For a minute, I forgot I was at a dental office while snoozing away in my comfortable chair and cozy blanket provided by the office. Highly recommend this office!

Cindy L. Orange, CA

We love Flossophie!! Both of my girls, 12 and 14, went for a routine cleaning. The office is beautiful and the staff is so friendly. They loved Dr. Esther Lee and, of course, the Netflix! The liked it so much, they both recently got braces from Dr. Bennet Lee. They chose the new gold braces and are constantly getting compliments on them.

Melissa T. Fullerton, CA

Today, my daughter had a wire poking out and it was bothering her. I called and left a message at the office. Knowing that it was Veterans Day and that the office was closed, I figured that I would get a call the next day. Dr. Lee called me and said he would go into the office to fix the wire even on a holiday. 5+ stars!!!!

  • Bio:

My family moved to Fullerton when I was 6 years old. Looking back I can say that I was fortunate to grow up in this community thanks to my amazing family, teachers and friends. After experiencing life on the East Coast & Canada, marrying my dental school classmate, and now three daughters and one cockapoo later, my SoCal heart brought me back to my hometown. It is a privilege to be given the opportunity to serve the community that has personally given me so much. I have chosen to become a practice-owner because I wanted to give my patients a different experience when it came to dental care. Dentistry can be scary if you don’t know what to expect. My goal is to decrease anxiety for my patients and actually make an impact in their lives. I hope to bring the relaxed CaliGirl vibe to dentistry and I know that Dr. B will bring the friendly luck of the Canuck from Canada. We are excited for you to come visit!

When I am not in the office, you might find me running around town with the kids and their many extra-curricular activities, doing yoga in DTF, trying out new restaurants, reading a good book, or occasionally watching home renovation and design shows on Instagram or TV.

  • Bio:

I grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, a northern Canadian city probably best known for their hockey team, the Oilers and Wayne Gretzky (aka The Great One). So naturally, I was raised with a healthy passion for hockey.

However, I also had a passion to make a difference in people’s lives. Growing up, I discovered that dentistry and orthodontic treatment was a great way to positively effect a person’s confidence and quality of life. Orthodontics, I found, would be the best way for me to make this difference, especially early in a person’s life when the impact would be more significant and lasting. So, after earning my bachelor’s degree in my hometown, I moved to Boston to attend dental school at Boston University, where I met Dr. Esther.

We continued our advanced education in dentistry at the University of Connecticut. And after working as a general dentist with underprivileged children in the Boston area, I continued to pursue my goal of becoming an orthodontist at the University of Toronto. Since then, Fullerton has become my newly adopted home. I’m excited to make an impact on the community in which we live and where our three daughters are growing up. I’m looking forward to helping you live your best life and discover your smile!

Hello there! I’m Dr. Carolyn Hsu, and I’m thrilled to be part of the Flossophie family. Dentistry isn’t just about teeth for me; it’s about building meaningful connections and nurturing lasting relationships with each of my patients.

Born and raised in Omaha, NE, I’ve always had a strong sense of community and belonging. After completing my dental education at Creighton University, I embarked on a journey to Washington state, where I spent the past couple years working in a corporate dental office. While the experience was valuable, I wanted something more personal – a chance to connect with patients on a deeper level and truly make a difference in their lives.

That’s what led me to venture into private practice and join the wonderful team here at Flossophie. I believe that dentistry is about more than just fixing smiles; it’s about understanding each patient’s unique needs, fears, and aspirations. By creating a warm, welcoming environment and taking the time to listen, I hope to empower my patients to prioritize their oral health and achieve their dental goals.

When I’m not at the practice, you’ll often find me spending time with my family and adorable nephews. I’m also an avid reader, with a particular love for fiction and biographies, and I enjoy staying active through tennis while exploring my creative side through pottery. You can also find me trying out new cafes on my quest for the perfect matcha latte!

I look forward to meeting you, understanding your unique needs, and working together to achieve and maintain a healthy, vibrant smile.
